Join us at Pier 22 (1200 1st Ave West, Bradenton, FL 34205) for dinner at 6:00 p.m. and a discussion with Larry Gerbens on his new book, Returning Home: Further Journeys Into the Art of Forgiveness. Attendees will receive dinner and a complimentary signed copy of the book. Attendance is by invitation only to members of the WSS and donors to Calvin Theological Seminary.

Join us for this lecture at 3:00 p.m. (EST) on Calvin’s campus as part of the CALL (Calvin Academy for Lifelong Learning) program. Hank Meijer, executive chairman of Meijer, Inc. in Grand Rapids, will be speaking on Arthur Vandenberg, The Man in the Middle of the American Century based on his biography of Michigan Senator Arthur Vandenberg, which was recently published by the University of Chicago Press.   • April 20, 2022, 3:30 p.m. (EST) Virtual Presentation and Discussion on The deVries Institute (this event is only virtual)

Join us for a virtual presentation at 3:30 p.m. (EST) with Matthew Lundberg, the director of The de Vries Institute, as he is interviewed by Calvin’s chaplain, Pastor Mary Hulst. It is a lively and informative discussion of Reformed theology and the education being provided to Calvin’s faculty, staff, and Christian leaders all around the globe. After the interview, stay tuned for your chance to participate in a live question and answer session with Matthew Lundberg moderated by Randy Vogelzang, Director of Gift Planning and Major Gifts at Calvin University. MAY

  • May 2, 2022, 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 pm Calvin Student for a Day with Geology Professor Jason Van Horn, North Hall, Calvin University

Take a stroll down memory lane and get your chance to be a Calvin student for a day. Your class will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Professor Jason Van Horn who will present you with a geology class in North Hall. From there your class will go on a “field trip” to the Bruce Dice Mineralogical Museum down the hall in the Geology Department. All of this will be followed by lunch with your “classmates” in the Commons Dining Hall. This is a day you will not want to miss. RSVP here as the number of students in the classroom is limited.
